We are here to serve you that you might experience the love of Jesus Christ and be equipped to share that love with others. You will make good friends at Ankeny Presbyterian Church; children, young people, single people, retired people - God's people.  

We gather weekly to renew and grow in our commitment to God and to strengthen and support each other. We'd love to have you come and join our circle of friends.

Vision Statement

We live God’s Word by:

Searching for and understanding our relationship with God;

Searching to understand God’s will through worship, Bible study, and prayer;

Offering worship experiences that celebrate Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior in a variety of meaningful and joyful ways;

Being committed followers of Christ;

Responding to what God is calling us to do;

Teaching His Word to all ages; and

Remaining open to ideas and opportunities.

We share God’s love by:

Praying for others;

Observing and respecting the sacraments;

Providing a place for fellowship of believers;

Inviting and welcoming others into a warm caring community of Christians;

Helping individuals identify and nurture their spiritual gifts;

Encouraging and strengthening personal relationships; and

Supporting individual, small group, and congregation-wide ministry initiatives.

We serve God’s world by:

Following God’s direction;

Expanding our Christian witness and ministry through words and deeds;

Ministering to needs within our church, community, nation, and the world;

Being respectful stewards of God’s resources;

Developing Christian leaders of all ages;

Working for justice and compassion of the disadvantaged; and

Responding to, participating in, and supporting the activities of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
